Kansas City, MO (September 13, 2001) : Strenuus has just launched SiteOutlook(tm), its new customer retention and web site monitoring tool. SiteOutlook is a tool designed to give web site owners immediate notification of site problems or service interruptions, and even reach customers who were affected by these problems.

"SiteOutlook is the convergence of what has traditionally been two different services," says Matthew Mellor, founder and CEO of Strenuus. "With a single service, web site owners can receive immediate notification of service problems, have access to detailed diagnosis information, and even be able to reach dissatisfied customers before they have an opportunity to go elsewhere."

SiteOutlook uses a free, downloadable agent called SiteAdvocate, which gives users a convenient and anonymous system for communicating with the web sites they visit. SiteAdvocate automatically detects and reacts to errors in online transactions, and gives the customer the opportunity to notify the web site owner of these service failures. With SiteOutlook, the web site owners can be notified via e-mail or pager if their visitors are experiencing problems, and even replay the events that led up to the error.

"SiteOutlook is priced competitively with other service monitoring options," says Jerry Weinstock, VP of Business Development. "But unlike these other options, SiteOutlook can detect errors from real customers, and give site owners an opportunity to reach out to these customers at the point of service failure. We think SiteOutlook is a powerful complement to existing service monitoring and customer retention strategies."

"The Internet has created interesting challenges in serving customers well," says Mr. Mellor. "Certainly, one of the key challenges is in knowing that there was in fact a problem, and who was affected by it. SiteOutlook provides a tactical solution to this very basic problem."
