MAP Merchandising Studio™ Provides an Intuitive Tool for Marketers to Manage Personalized Marketing Campaigns

AUSTIN, TX - September 18, 2001 - eCustomers, Inc., the premier provider of Enterprise Customer Response applications, today announced the availability of the Enterprise Campaign Server, providing comprehensive management of multi-channel marketing initiatives through a revolutionary point-and-click application -- MAP Merchandising Studio.

The Enterprise Campaign Server consists of two applications. MAP Merchandising Studio empowers marketing experts to directly specify personalized content, such as the products, messages and offers delivered to customers browsing a web site; the call center scripts and product recommendations made by call center representatives; and the relevant offers made through outbound e-mail campaigns. MAP Design Studio™ is a configuration tool that provides the ability to define parameters for marketing campaigns, including segmentation schemes, specific points of personalization and content options available for delivery to customers. MAP Design Studio is scheduled for release later this year.

By deploying the Enterprise Campaign Server and MAP Merchandising Studio, marketing initiatives can be coordinated across all marketing channels. This ensures customer responses are consistent regardless of whether they interact via the web, telephone, email, or some other touch point.

The Enterprise Campaign Server is tightly integrated with the Enterprise Response Server™, eCustomers` run-time personalization platform, to execute segmentation and content selection rules defined within MAP Merchandising Studio. The Enterprise Campaign Server can also interface with existing CRM or personalization run-time technologies, such as ATG Dynamo Scenario Server, Blaze Advisor Rule Server and Engine (from HNC Software), and Microsoft Commerce Server 2000* through application-specific data adapters.
