Lisa Kent adds CEO to her Netgrocer duties
Lisa Kent, president of Netgrocer.com, online retailer and e-commerce service provider, has added CEO responsibilities to her job. She was also named to
the company`s Board of Directors.
In addition, NetGrocer has named has named Wayne Marshall as its COO.
The company said Kent will increase her focus on corporate strategy, interaction with the investment community and business development. Marshall will take over her operational responsibilities associated with the online store.
Before joining the company in 2000 as vice president of consumer marketing, Kent spent eight years in marketing at Johnson & Johnson, most recently serving as executive director of E-Ventures for the baby and kids products. She also has worked in marketing for Nestle Baking and Procter & Gamble.
Marshall joined Netgrocer in January as vice president of merchandising. He will focus primarily on the sales and development of Netgrocer`s Endless Aisle service for retailers, as well as the company`s day-to-day operations. Marshall has been senior vice president for merchandising and marketing at Big V Supermarkets and spent 28 years with Dominick`s Finer Foods of Chicago where he held a variety of marketing and merchandising positions.
