Salt Lake City; January 21, 2002 - Tomax Corporation announced today that Ultimate Electronics, Inc. (NASDAQ: ULTE), one of the nation`s largest consumer electronics retailers, will implement Tomax` Retail.net® suite of applications and Oracle Corporation`s e-Business Suite to create an infrastructure for managing retail operations and integrating customer channels in realtime. This combined solution will provide Ultimate with a powerful web-enabled solution for the entire retail value chain. The project is anticipated to be implemented over the next eighteen months.
The Retail.net suite supports the critical functions of retail operation management, such as point-of-sale, inventory and receiving.
