
Best Buy and Circuit City retain top 2 spots among electronics web sites
Best Buy Co. Inc.’s BestBuy.com and Circuit City Stores Inc.’s CircuitCity.com experienced robust growth in unique visitors in December and solidified their positions as Nos. 1 & 2 among consumer electronics retailers’ web sites, reports Nielsen Online. Most other such sites suffered declines in traffic in December compared to December a year ago.
The top consumer electronics sites, with unique visitors (in millions) in December 2007 and December 2006 and year-over-year growth, according to Nielsen Online, were:

Unique visitors count only once each shopper who came to a site, no matter how many times that shopper visited. This is a custom list compiled by Internet Retailer of the top 10 e-commerce sites in this category based on Nielsen Online data.
