Guba.com cuts prices for downloads of films and TV shows
Video download retailer Guba has significantly lowered prices for its extensive library of movies and TV programs. Guba.com has been pioneering the video purchase and rental paradigm that enables users to buy and rent films and television programs via web downloading.
For a limited time, Guba customers can buy downloadable movies for $9.99 on the same day the movie is released on DVD. Customers can buy other movies for $4.99 and TV show episodes for $0.49. During this promotion customers can rent movies for $0.99. Guba users can watch movies on their PC a few minutes after purchase without having to download additional software.
Founded in 1998, Guba also enables customers to download, share and buy user-generated content. Users can watch videos in Flash, QuickTime and Windows Media formats, and can stream videos using Windows Media Center and Apple’s Front Row technology.
