Jumpstart Automotive Media gets $10 million in capital
Jumpstart Automotive Media, a provider of online advertising programs that connect auto manufacturers and dealers with web shoppers, has received $10 million in its first round of institutional financing, it said today.
The financing came in the form of a minority-stake investment by Boston-based Alta Communications, a private equity firm. Jumpstart reaches more than 5 million in-market car shoppers per month through online advertising that includes contextual display ads, behavioral targeting, search marketing and lead generation. It works with web publishing partners including ValueClick, Google, Yahoo and J.D. Power Autos.
