Soft Solutions appoints Bob Harlond managing director for Canada
Soft Solutions, a France-based provider of web content management technology and related services that is expanding into the North American market, has appointed veteran retail technology executive Bob Harlond as managing director of its Canadian operations.
Harlond is a former executive of Toronto-based retail chain Hudson’s Bay Co., where he served in merchandise management and planning. He also has served as a senior manager of operations for the retail group at U.K.-based International Distillers & Vintners Plc and has owned and operated his own clothing store business in the U.K.
Harlond also has spent more than 20 years in senior management positions with retail industry technology providers in the U.S. and Canada including J.D. Edwards, JBA Plc and Exe Technologies/SSA Global.
