Scholastic.com delivers fastest high broadband connectivity in January

At 2.72 seconds Scholastic.com gave shoppers the fastest high broadband access time among big web retailers in January, says Gomez Inc.

Scholastic.com was followed by Dell.com (3.52 seconds), Zappos.com (3.86 seconds) and Macys.com (4.01 seconds). Using a dial-up connection, Scholastic.com also provided the fastest site response time at 29.58 seconds.

In January, a shopper with a high broadband connection could access a Top 50 retail site in 6.35 seconds, compared with 15.19 seconds for a low broadband connection and 48.86 seconds for dial-up.
