IMN introduces customizable e-coupons and e-newsletter content
IMN, provider of Loyalty Driver, an e-newsletter service for automotive dealerships, has introduced customizable e-coupons and lifestyle content. The new features, Real Coupons and Concierge Content, are producing strong customer response at Minnesota car dealer Lexus of Wayzata in Wayzata, MN, Tim Kraemer, the dealer’s general sales manager, says.
The e-coupon and lifestyles content features have resulted in a 40% increase in customers clicking on printer-friendly coupons and high newsletter readership rates, says Brian Epro, director of IMN’s automotive services group.
“We’re very pleased with the customer response to Real Coupons and Concierge Content,” Kraemer says. “Our customers like the professional appearance of the Real Coupons, and the high rate of click-throughs that we’ve seen for the Concierge articles proves that upscale content is attracting and retaining our readers.”
IMN’s Real Coupons are customizable template e-coupons that enable dealerships to e-mail professionally designed coupons to targeted customers and prospects, IMN says. Dealerships can select from a family of 17 templates that include cleaning and detailing specials, oil filter change specials, scheduled maintenance service and savings on a new or used vehicle.
Dealers can also upload into the templates vehicle pictures and links back to their web sites to help drive additional revenue through increased test drives and service appointments. More Real Coupons templates planned for later this year, IMN adds.
Concierge Content is specialized or brand-specific content, designed to appeal to the interests of the dealerships’ target demographic, IMN says. It consists of lifestyle articles about upscale travel destinations targeted for inclusion in luxury vehicle brand e-newsletters. Dealerships also can include a link in the content to a full-motion vehicle video or vehicle lifestyle image. While designed for luxury vehicle brand Loyalty Driver e-newsletters, Concierge Content is available for all dealership e-newsletters, IMN says.
