ENSENDA NAMES NARI KANNAN VICE PRESIDENT OF ENGINEERING
- Former CTO of Kadiri and Ensera Adds to Immediate Delivery Service

SAN FRANCISCO, October 29, 2001 - Ensenda, Inc. today announced that Nari
Kannan has joined the company as vice president of engineering. In this
position, Mr. Kannan will be responsible for advancing the development and
operational support of Ensenda`s proprietary delivery solution. He will
report directly to Chris Mannella, Ensenda`s co-founder and chief executive
officer.
Ensenda is an immediate delivery service operating across the US and in
Canada. It provides both fast and inexpensive service for businesses and
consumers because of its unique routing and tracking technology that
enables merchants to fulfill from local store inventory, which is already
close to the customer. A local courier - handpicked as a member of the
Ensenda delivery network - delivers the goods to the buyer. Ensenda
delivers everything from prescription drugs to personal computers at less
than the cost of traditional overnight express services.
Mr. Kannan comes to Ensenda from Kadiri, Inc., a leading provider of
e-management applications that automate key compensation management
activities and streamline the associated decision making processes in
medium to large-sized corporations. As chief technology officer (CTO) for
Kadiri, Mr. Kannan participated in the technology due diligence activities
of large customers. He was also instrumental in cultivating new
partnerships, initiating the company`s long-term product vision and
developing tools for increased flexibility of data import and export for
Kadiri customers.

Previous to joining Kadiri, Mr. Kannan was the CTO of Ensera, Inc., which
develops and markets scalable and reliable applications for business
enterprises in the automotive claims and collision repair marketplaces.
Prior to Ensera, he was the founder and CEO of Colorado Springs-based Zelos
Technologies, and Vice President of Technology at Equinox Solutions. He
began his career at Digital Equipment Corporation as a senior software
engineer.
Mr. Kannan holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Physics from Loyola
College, a Masters of Science in Business Administration from the
University of Madras in Madras, India, and a Masters of Science in Computer
Science from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst.
