Wincor Nixdorf International GmbH, a Germany-based provider of web-enabled POS technology for retailers, has named former CRM industry executive Brad Waugh as CEO of its Austin, TX-based U.S. operations, the company said today.
“Brad Waugh has a successful track record in creating and managing high-growth companies, with impressive results in increasing sales while controlling costs,” says Javier López Bartolomé, president, Wincor-Nixdorf Americas and Iberia. “Brad’s entrepreneurial vision and corporate experience will have a significant impact on Wincor Nixdorf to continue our U.S. success.”
Prior to Wincor Nixdorf, Waugh founded and served as president and CEO of Watch Hill Partners, a CRM consulting firm. He also served in executive roles at consultants MasterCard Advisors and other technology consulting firms.
Wincor Nixdorf’s product line includes the Beetle Net/POS web-enabled suite of POS products based on open technology standards.
