H-E-B GROCERY IMPLEMENTS MICROSOFT DYNAMICS AX AT TWO ADDITIONAL FOOD PROCESSING PLANTS
Grocery Chain Realizes Improved Efficiency in Production and Distribution Processes
Lincolnshire, IL - January 12, 2006 - Junction Solutions , the premier provider of industry-focused enterprise software and services based on Microsoft Dynamics AX (formerly Axapta), today announced that $11B grocery chain and food processor H.E. Butt Grocery (H-E-B) has implemented Junction Solutions’ Food & Beverage solution at three additional plants -- its Tortilla Plant and Bakery in Corpus Christi, and its Floral Processing Center in San Antonio, Texas, bringing the total of plants live to four.
Last year, the grocery chain announced it would standardize 11 of its plants located in Texas with Junction Solutions’ Food & Beverage solution in order to consolidate some legacy systems into one integrated, multi-location, multi-lingual ERP solution. Since then, H-E-B has benefited from its long-term relationship with Junction Solutions by realizing improved efficiency in both production and distribution processes. Two more plants are scheduled to go live over the next few months including the Snack Plant in San Antonio and the Bakery Plants in Houston, to be followed by the dairy and meat processing facilities.
