Tommy charges fraud


Tommy Hilfiger Licensing Inc., a subsidiary of Tommy Hilfiger Corp., today filed suit against Ronnies Club 501, a Los Angeles-based company that operates tommyhilfigerwarehouse.com.

According to the complaint, Ronnies Club 501, through tommyhilfigerwarehouse.com, has infringed on the Tommy Hilfiger trademark and engaged in the sale of counterfeit Hilfiger products. The complaint is seeking the surrender of the tommyhilfigerwarehouse.com domain name. This is the second lawsuit Tommy Hilfiger has filed against an online retailer. In August, the company sued Bluefly.com to stop the sale of allegedly counterfeit Hilfiger merchandise.
