GERS Reports Major Business Gains for Fourth Quarter 2005
New customers and current customer upgrades demonstrate industry commitment to GERS customer-centric solutions for general retail, consumer electronics, wireless, and home furnishings markets.
SAN DIEGO, January 13, 2006 -- GERS Retail Systems, a leading provider of enterprise software solutions, today announced a highly successful Fourth Quarter in 2005. New business for Q4 2005 includes:

-- Nextel/Sprint: increased licenses to accommodate growing organization as a result of their recent merger
-- Leon`s, Canada`s largest home furnishings retailer: GERS New Java Store Operations & POS solution
-- Famous Tate, 30th largest appliance and mattress dealer in the United States: GERS New Java Store Operations & POS solution
-- Gallerie: expanded GERS New Java Store Operations & POS solution functionality related to growing hybrid, cash & carry home furnishings and accessories business
In addition, FurnishNet, GERS`s wholly owned subsidiary and leading provider of Internet-based supply chain solutions for home furnishings retailers and manufacturers, signed 41 new accounts this year, an increase of 58% over last year, while their total delivered business rose 32% over last year.
