ExactTarget Adds 1,000 New Customers in 2005; Grows Revenue by 65 Percent

Email Marketing firm wins Delta Faucet, Gannett and Goodyear Tire & Rubber

INDIANAPOLIS – (January 18, 2005) - ExactTarget, a leading developer of on-demand email software solutions for permission-based email marketing, achieved a greater than 65 percent increase in revenue and added more than 1,000 new customers in 2005. This brings to 4,000 the number of ExactTarget customers under annual contract.

ExactTarget also increased its employee base to 170 from 124 a year earlier, and relocated to expanded headquarters in Indianapolis.

"ExactTarget just completed our 19th consecutive quarter of revenue growth," said Scott Dorsey, president of ExactTarget. "This growth rate can be attributed to our relentless focus on customer success and our ability to meet the needs of world-class marketers."

During 2005, ExactTarget added such customers as:
• Delta Faucet Company, the largest U.S. manufacturer of residential and commercial faucets.
• Gannett Co., Inc., a diversified news and information company operating the largest group of newspapers in the U.S. by circulation.
• Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company, the world`s largest tire company.
• Home123 Corp., one of America`s largest providers of home mortgage loans.
• Icelandair, the flagship air carrier of Iceland.
• WatchGuard Technologies Inc., an award-winning network security company.
