Newegg names a vice president responsible for consumer electronics
Online consumer electronics and personal computer retailer Newegg.com has hired Michael Amkreutz as vice president of product management, home entertainment and displays.
At Newegg, No. 10 in the Internet Retailer Top 500 Guide, Amkreutz will oversee the retailer’s consumer electronics division and build out that division’s customer database and other aspects of business development.
Most recently Amkreutz was the vice president of sales and product management at HANNspree North America, a manufacturer of LCD TVs. Earlier in his career he also worked at Sharp Electronics and Toshiba Consumer Products.

in a session entitled Taking Security, Payments and Operations to Failsafe Levels.
