BestBuy.com Selects Totality`s Site Management and Operations Services to Support Multiple Consumer Web Properties
SAN FRANCISCO (November 12, 2001) -- Totality Corp., a leading provider of Application & Infrastructure Management (AIM) services for e-businesses, today announced new customer BestBuy.com, Inc., a wholly owned Internet subsidiary of Best Buy Co., Inc. (NYSE: BBY), to support the company`s BestBuy.com (www.bestbuy.com), Best Buy Entertainment (www.bbe.bestbuy.com), Musicland (www.musicland.com), Sam Goody (www.samgoody.com), Media Play (www.mediaplay.com), Suncoast (www.suncoast.com) and On Cue (www.oncue.com) Web properties.
BestBuy.com chose Totality for its ManageWare service, which includes 24x7 site availability management. BestBuy.com and its other Web properties offer consumer electronic products -- including computers, audio, video, portable electronics, photo and digital imaging -- as well as music CDs and DVD movies. By year-end, the online channel will offer BestBuy`s full retail product line, which includes consumer electronics, entertainment software, home office products such as PCs, telephones, printers and copiers, and home appliances.
