InfoSpace`s Authorize.Net to offer iShopSecure`s Verified by Visa and TRANSACT-SECURE multi-tiered Payer Authentication service
DAVIE, Fla.- iShopSecure, Inc. a leading provider of identification verification solutions deployed to safeguard online and offline transactions from fraud announced today it has signed a three year agreement with InfoSpace, Inc.`s, Authorize.NetTM to offer iShopSecure`s real time payer authentication anti fraud technology and the Visa Payer Authentication service (Verified by Visa) to Authorize.Net`s merchant base.
Verified by Visa allows consumers to actively protect their Visa accounts from unauthorized use by selecting a personalized password. Each time cardholders make purchases at participating online stores, they are automatically presented with a Verified by Visa window where they enter their password and authenticate themselves to the Issuer. Verified by Visa significantly minimizes fraud and customer disputes because only the cardholder and their card Issuer know the password.
TRANSACT-SECURETM is iShopSecure`s patent pending server-based solution that helps prevent purchaser identification fraud by empowering the merchant to automatically perform real-time multi-tiered authentication of the cardholder`s identity during checkout. Fraudsters are prevented from committing credit card and eCheck fraud during checkout. Authenticated transactions from online merchants and telesales carry the iShopSecure insurance policy to the merchant of up to $5,000 per transaction. TRANSACT-SECURET is utilized to authenticate all other credit cards and eChecks.
