Amazon opens wireless phone store

Amazon.com launched a wireless phones store, www.amazon.com/wirelessphones, that will compare price, features and services of wireless communication from national providers AT&T Wireless, Sprint PCS and VoiceStream Wireless. Visitors will be able to compare phones or service plans side-by-side. The site will make recommendations after users answer five questions and provide maps of coverage areas. Customers get a 30-day risk-free guarantee on all wireless phones and accessories. Amazon.com also is offering a $50 discount on cell phone and accessory purchases over $100 in the new store.
