J.C. Penney's Internet sales surge

J.C. Penney Co. Inc. reported web-based sales in November of $39 million in and $206 million year to date, compared to $16 million and $54 million in last year's respective periods. Total company sales in November totaled $2.9 billion; year to date, $25.8 bliion.
