Industry Veteran John Crimmins Will Help Expand Customer Service Initiatives as Director of Consulting Services
CHICAGO - January 30, 2006 -- ShopperTrak RCT Corporation, the world`s leading provider of retail traffic intelligence solutions and services, has expanded its industry leading customer service initiatives for retailers with the appointment of John Crimmins as the company`s director of consulting services.
In this newly created position, Mr. Crimmins will consult with retail executives on the most effective use of ShopperTrak data while utilizing a unique consultative approach to help each new client efficiently transition from pilot program to company-wide adoption of performance measures based on store traffic and conversion rates. By monitoring conversion rate, a metric that compares traffic during a certain time period to the number of retail transactions, clients are equipped with key data that helps them properly determine staffing, training, store layout, store display, merchandising and product pricing.
Mr. Crimmins brings to the position an extensive background in client management, sales and staff development. He most recently served as senior account executive for Tribune Direct Marketing in Chicago. Previous to that, he was the senior vice president and managing director of ChoicePoint Direct`s strategic marketing group, (formerly Customer Development Corporation) where he grew the company`s business 12 percent each year for five years. Mr. Crimmins has a broad consulting background, both in management development and training at Executive Perspectives of Brookline, Mass, and as strategic consultant with global management consulting firm Bain and Company.
