Digital Impact Names Edward J. Spiegel to Board of Directors
Veteran Direct Marketing Expert and Entrepreneur to Bring Wealth of Experience to Company Board
Digital Impact, Inc., the premier provider of online direct marketing solutions for enterprises, today announced that Edward J. Spiegel has been appointed to its board of directors.
Spiegel is a veteran of the direct marketing industry with over 40 years of leadership experience. Over the course of his illustrious career, Spiegel has held various executive management positions with world-renowned cataloguer, Spiegel, Inc, where in the 1980s, he played an instrumental role in transforming the business from a low-end cataloguer to an upscale, world-class catalog company. In his most recent position at the cataloguer, Spiegel served as the senior vice president of marketing and advertising, and was responsible for overseeing all aspects of marketing, advertising, corporate strategic planning, customer service and credit and collection.
After his tenure at Spiegel, Inc., Spiegel moved on to enjoy a prestigious career in academia and founded the graduate program in direct marketing at Northwestern University, where he served as a director of the program and a professor of direct marketing. Spiegel continues to work with the program in an active capacity.
Currently, Spiegel is a general partner with The Callahan Group, LLC, a consulting group helping organizations to compete more effectively in the changing world of global business. Spiegel also serves as the president of Spiegel Marketing Associates, a strategic planning consultancy working with companies in the direct marketing industry.

Along with serving on the Digital Impact board of directors, Spiegel is a director and consultant for the American Blinds and Wallpaper Factory, Inc. In the past, he has served on the boards of cataloguer Spiegel, Inc.; CM Partners, a direct marketing advertising agency; and Main St. Marketing Corp., a developer of software for target marketing. Spiegel holds an M.B.A from Amos Tuck School of Business Administration, Dartmouth College, and a B.A., also from Dartmouth College.
