Papa Murphy`s Customers Can Now Purchase Gift Certificates Online
SALT LAKE CITY--Dec. 5, 2001--Gift Check Solutions today announced it has signed an agreement with Papa Murphy`s Pizza to provide the take-and-bake pizza chain with hosted e-commerce services, which will allow Papa Murphy`s customers to order gift certificates online at www.papamurphys.com.
Papa Murphy`s customers can visit the site to purchase gift certificates in $5 denominations, which are redeemable at any of Papa Murphy`s more than 660 locations throughout the United States. The gift certificates are available online and can be sent to the customer`s location or shipped directly to friends and family.
"As a customer for the past two years we`ve been impressed with Gift Check Solutions program and decided to add its online ordering gift certificate program to meet the needs of all of our franchises and to provide a manageable sales tool for our Web site," said Jeanne Embry, director of accounting at Papa Murphy`s.
"Selling the gift certificates online provides an opportunity to attract new customers and adds value to our Web site."
As part of the agreement, Gift Check Solutions will manage the printing and fulfillment of the gift certificates for Papa Murphy`s. Each gift certificate from Gift Check Solutions works just like a check, which simplifies the tracking and accounting of the gift certificates.
