Online wedding resource The Knot has forged a strategic partnership with Synovus Financial Corp. for Synovus' newly launched virtual bank, pointpathbank.com, to be its exclusive financial service partner of The Knot Web site and The Knot areas on America Online and several other AOL brands. Pointpathbank.com, which will be launched this summer pending final regulatory approval, is targeted at couples and the financial needs they face during their engagement, wedding, and newlywed periods.

Pointpathbank.com's section on The Knot will also include editorial content that offers helpful advice and tips on couples' financial planning.
Through pointpathbank.com, Knot visitors can also take advantage of an exclusive VISA gift card that can be personalized and used anywhere VISA is accepted both online and offline.
