Email Service Provider ExactTarget Forms Industry`s First Online API Developer Community
INDIANAPOLIS - (February 07, 2006) - ExactTarget, the leading developer of on-demand outbound email software solutions with more than 4,000 customers, today announced that it has launched the industry`s first online developer community to support the successful integration efforts of its customers.
Currently, more than 800 ExactTarget clients utilize the ExactTarget Application Programming Interface (API) to integrate with another software application, such as CRM, content management, e-commerce and web analytics, to send out 20 million emails yearly. Among those ExactTarget customers using the API to gain greater benefits from their email marketing efforts are DSW Shoes and Encyclopaedia Britannica. The ExactTarget Developer Community will be an excellent resource for assisting these and other customers in completing and enhancing their ExactTarget integrations.
