today announced the completion of a multi-site rollout of its warehouse
management system, DCS, at Broder Bros. The application will provide Broder
Bros. with inventory visibility across all of its distribution centers
and enable it to respond more quickly and efficiently to customer demand.
Based in Plymouth, Michigan, Broder Brothers offers the largest combined
one and two-day shipping services in the wholesale sportswear industry.
With a broad selection of sports and casual wear, the Company distinguishes
itself on its ability to promptly meet any customer demand from its nationwide

With the multi-site visibility provided by Yantra`s DCS, Broder can improve
service levels while reducing costs and inventory levels in each distribution
center. The application is helping Broder improve functions like replenishment
, putaway and cycle counting, which previously were largely manual processes.
This is significantly increasing output, improving fulfillment accuracy
and reducing costs for manual labor at each warehouse.
To date, Broder Bros, has brought four distribution centers live on the
Yantra application. A fifth warehouse is scheduled to go live Dec. 17th
and seven more locations will go live in 2002. Once the first warehouse,
in Plymouth, MI, went into production, Yantra used a new Rapid Deployment
Tool developed in conjunction with Broder Bros. to quickly implement additional
warehouses. With the tool, Broder and Yantra can enable additional distributi
on centers in as little as four hours. Yantra also worked with ESync,
a supply chain system integration specialist, on the implementation.
