BargainAndHaggle.com and Citibank`s c2it Set Payment Provider Agreement

Top Negotiated Commerce Marketplace Signs Agreement to Promote c2it Payment System

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich., Dec. 20 -- The leading alternative to online consumer auctions, BargainAndHaggle.com (http://www.bargainandhaggle.com), today announced an agreement with Citibank`s c2it (SM) service to feature and actively promote its online payment system.

c2it is a person-to-person online funds transfer system by which virtually anyone in the U.S. with an email address can send and receive money online within the U.S. for free. It also features an international money transfer service that allows payments to be sent to more than 80 countries around the world.

Grand Rapids, Mich.-based mindpepper(TM), LLC, the Internet product development company that operates BargainAndHaggle.com, said the agreement will allow users of the negotiated commerce website to make payments using c2it when buying and selling. BargainAndHaggle.com will promote c2it through banner ads, text links and other channels.

"The addition of c2it reflects BargainAndHaggle.com`s commitment to providing the most efficient and effective tools for buying and selling online," said Catherine Ettinger, CEO of mindpepper. "A key advantage of BargainAndHaggle.com is the ability to complete a deal in moments instead of days. c2it gives our users an important new currency for conducting efficient and secure negotiated transactions. Also, since c2it customers now can send money for free within the U.S., this would add even more value to BargainAndHaggle`s user base."

Unlike auctions and other marketplaces, BargainAndHaggle.com lets the seller and buyer work one-to-one. Once the seller posts an item with an asking price, the buyer makes an offer. Then they negotiate, during which time either side can accept the terms of sale, make a counter offer, or walk away.

After less than a year of operation, BargainAndHaggle.com now has over 600,000 registered users, is generally ranked second only to eBay in consumer- to-consumer sites, and expects to be profitable in 2002. BargainAndHaggle.com`s patent pending process allows buyers and sellers to negotiate one-to-one for everything from real estate and automobiles to consumer electronics, collectibles and sports memorabilia.
