E-Commerce Help From Chase

Chase Merchant Services LLC and iXL Enterprises Inc. have announced a strategic relationship that will allow iXL to provide e-commerce services to Chase Merchant Services merchants.

The relationship includes the launch of eWEBuilder, an interactive service that helps Chase merchants build their own Web sites and accept credit card payments online. It offers merchants "immediate" open-architecture marketing services, the companies say. Merchants can apply for an account via a dedicated www.ewebuilder.com Web site, which uses eAPPLY, the Chase Merchant Services online application. Atlanta-based iXL will provide joint marketing initiatives through joint sales calls and multimedia sales presentations.

New York City-based Chase Merchant Services is a joint venture between Chase Merchant Ventures Inc. and First Data Merchant Services, a subsidiary of First Data Corp.
