Good Sports Team Up

Nutripeak.com Inc., Reston, Va., and Sports Nutrition Depot Inc., Los Angeles, have entered into a definitive merger agreement. The deal will create one of the largest retailers and e-commerce companies in the sports nutrition industry, the companies say. Sports Nutrition Depot stores will be re-branded under the Nutripeak.com banner. The corporate headquarters will be relocated to Sports Nutrition Depot's new headquarters and fulfillment center in Culver City, Calif.

     Barry D. Blake, chairman and CEO of Nutripeak.com, will be chairman and CEO of the combined company. Alex Lasbroas, president and CEO of Sports Nutrition Depot will be president of the combined company. Mr. Lasbroas and an additional Sports Nutrition Depot Director will join Nutripeak.com's six-member Board of Directors. Gary O. Giles will be COO, and Terry Fussel will join Nutripeak.com as CFO.
