Keynote Systems Appoints Richard Rudolph Vice President of Worldwide Sales
Extensive Knowledge of E-Business Performance Management Market; Formerly Led Sales at WebTrends
SAN MATEO, Calif., January 3, 2002 – Keynote (Nasdaq: KEYN), The Internet Performance Authority®, announced the appointment today of Richard Rudolph to the position of vice president of worldwide sales. Prior to joining Keynote, Mr. Rudolph was the senior vice president of global sales, services and business development at webHancer Corp., a provider of Web site performance measurement and analysis regarding the experience of end-users. Previous to his position at webHancer, Mr. Rudolph was the vice president of sales for WebTrends, a provider of Web analytics solutions. While at WebTrends, Rudolph grew the sales organization from 12 to over 100 people and expanded their annual revenue run rates to more than $100 million.
Previous to WebTrends, Rudolph held sales positions at Extensis Corporation, a provider of products and services for electronic publishing; Merant, Inc., a global e-business software solutions company; and Central Point Software, a world leader in security and desktop utility technology.

With over 15 years of solution-focused Internet and software sales and management experience, Rudolph, 39, is a solid and well-seasoned sales executive with a proven success record. He has a broad range of experience working in start-up environments and with larger more established publicly held high tech companies. He has a B.S. in Economics from Oregon State University.
