E-catalog Company Adds 8 Merchants

Shop2u.com, an e-commerce newcomer that delivers full-color electronic catalogs via e-mail, says Macy's by Mail, the Company Store, RedEnvelope.com, ibeauty.com, Everything Wireless, the Swiss Colony, Sovietski Collection and Panache have joined its ranks of merchant partners. Shop2u, which launched earlier this month and is based in Fairfax, Va., says it now works with more than 35 catalogers and e-retailers. The company creates personalized e-catalogs and sends them to targeted customers through traditional e-mail. It charges no upfront delivery costs and collects a percentage of sales. Shop2u.com's technology uses past purchase and survey data to identify customers and develop merchandise offers.
