Seattle-based Avenue A | Razorfish, a unit of aQuantive Inc., has named Clark Kokich worldwide president. Kokich has held a number of executive management positions within Avenue A | Razorfish since he joined the company in 1999, most recently as president of Avenue A | Razorfish's west region and before that as president of Avenue A's Seattle and Chicago offices. Prior to Avenue A | Razorfish, Kokich held executive positions with Calla Bay retailers, AT&T Wireless and Cole & Weber.
Kokich will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of 11 U.S. offices and nearly 900 staffers. He also will be instrumental in setting the future direction of the interactive marketing and technology services company
Avenue A | Razorfish is the result of the July 2004 merger of Avenue A, the largest buyer of digital media and paid search, and Razorfish, web site design and development company.
Avenue A | Razorfish, with revenue of $87.4 million through the first half of this year, is the largest of aQuantive's three operating units. The business currently makes up more than 60% of aQuantive's overall revenue of $142.2 million at the end of June 2005. Avenue A | Razorfish serves more than 20 of the Fortune 100 companies. Clients list includes AstraZeneca, Best Buy, Ford Motor Co., Kraft, Levi's, Microsoft, Nike and Verizon. AQuantive’s other units are marketing Atlas and Drive Performance Marketing.
