More Accounts Means More Dough
In an initiative designed to accelerate online account growth, USABancShares.com has launched a fully integrated banking solution for DoughNET.com, a "manage-your-money" and online shopping Web site for teens. The platform provides the financial services infrastructure supporting DoughNET.com and its new promotion with Hawaiian Punch, under which 14 million "DoughCodes" will be included with shipments of the soft drink nationwide. Starting this week, DoughNET.com's Cool School Cash promotion, announced last month, rewards Hawaiian Punch drinkers with an incentive for opening an online account. The promotion offers cash prizes ranging from $50 to $10,000, funded by DoughNET.com directly into an FDIC-insured bank account with Philadelphia-based USABancShares.com. Connecting e-commerce and banking, San Francisco-based DoughNET.com offers teens a gateway to shopping and money management on the Web. Users can bank, shop, save and donate online without a credit card.
