Online sales for the week ending Sept. 11 grew 30%, reaching $1.47 billion from $1.12 billion a year ago, comScore Networks Inc. reports.
By comparison, total retail sales for the week ending Sept. 10 were up 4.9% from the same week a year ago, reports ShopperTrak’s National Retail Sales Estimate. It was the 35th week of growth out of 36 weeks in the year so far, ShopperTrak reports.
Online travel sales for week ending Sept. 11 were up 14% to $1.24 billion from $1.08 billion in the corresponding week a year ago, comScore reports.
