Lycos Shop holiday traffic up 250%

Terra Lycos, a global Internet network, announced that traffic to Lycos Shop for the 2000 holiday season from mid-November through December grew more than two-fold from the 1999 season. Revenue generated by Lycos Shop merchants as a result of referrals from the Lycos Network also increased by the same percentage, running at 250% of the 1999 estimate. Unique visitors to Lycos Shop grew to 580% of the 1999 totals for the critical last week of shopping leading up to Christmas.
