The Children's Place temporarily shuts down web site

The Children's Place is closing down its web site for a restructuring and plans to re-launch the site in April. The Seacaucus, N.J.-based company reports that its web site accounts for less than 1% of its $400 million in annual sales. The site will continue to provide online informational services such as corporate news, merchandise promotions and store locations. The Children's Place operates 400 stores in 43 states.
