DollarDays promotes two from within to senior executive positions
Promotions at DollarDays International have raised Chuck Cody to the position of senior vice president of sales and Ron Middlebrook to the position of senior vice president of merchandising, the company has announced.
Previously Cody served as the company’s director of sales and Middlebrook was vice president and general merchandise manager. Together, the two executives represent more than 30 years of combined retail experience.
“Chuck and Ron are both on the front lines of activating our mission: to help small retailers compete and win against the big box stores,” says CEO Marc Joseph. “Their positions are well-earned and a result of our company’s growth and success.”
In his new position, Cody will continue to focus on further increasing sales revenue and securing new markets for DollarDays products and services. Prior to joining DollarDays, he was director of credit operations and customer service for FACS Group, the financial, administrative and credit arm of Federated Department Stores. Previously, he spent 15 years with Sears in various positions including operations manager.
As senior vice president of merchandising, Middlebrook maintains responsibility for vendor procurement and management of the company’s inventory. He joined DollarDays in 2003 with nearly two decades of retail and entrepreneurial experience, including, most recently, owning and operating a five–store chain in the Phoenix area, which he later sold.
