Three More Online Retailers Reporting Sell-Through
Channel Intelligence adds RitzCamera.com, PC Mall and Good Guys to growing list of preferred dealers
Celebration, Fla. (August 18, 2003) - As manufacturers continue to be challenged to select services with proven return on investment, Channel Intelligence announced three respected online retailers that have implemented sell-through tracking. RitzCamera.com, PC Mall and Good Guys have each implemented Channel Intelligence`s real-time POS tracking (RPT) system. This system allows manufacturers to receive product-by-product sell-through information for sales leads that come from the manufacturer`s site, through Channel Intelligence`s Channel Buy Links service, to the retailer.
"We now have about 25 percent of our 169 retailers providing sell-through data," says Alan Fulmer, President of Channel Intelligence. "This is a tremendous benefit to our manufacturer clients who send leads to these retailers and then can see, in real time, whether or not those leads converted into actual sales."

Channel Intelligence`s RPT system only reports the transaction information to the manufacturer - the product sold, the price and quantity of the products sold. It does not collect a customer`s personally identifiable information. Customer information remains solely with the retailer.
"We realize that customer information is very confidential to retailers, so it was important to focus only on reporting transaction information - this separation between customer and transaction data is critical in maintaining a strong relationship between the manufacturers and their retailers," says Shailesh Adhav, VP of Dealer Relations for Channel Intelligence. At the same time retailers want to maintain their customer relationships and information."
These three dealers represent some of the main industries covered by Channel Intelligence`s services - computing (PC Mall), consumer electronics (Good
