Alpine Access names customer service veteran Garth Howard as CEO
Garth Howard, a 25-year veteran executive of customer service centers, has been named CEO of call center outsourcing company Alpine Access Inc.
Howard will be responsible for leading Alpine on a continued growth curve in the contact center industry, said Alpine board member Jeff Bennis. “Garth’s proven track record of developing strong customer relationships, increasing profitability and improving operational efficiency will further solidify the company’s position in the market,” Bennis said.
Howard most recently served as president and general manager of TeleTech Holdings in Denver, where he directed the delivery of CRM and call center services in North America. In the past year, he directed all aspects of operations, sales and marketing in the Asia-Pacific Region as part of a global restructuring.
Prior to TeleTech, Howard was president and COO of Ikano Communications, a provider of Internet outsourcing solutions for regional ISPs. He also served as president of the Custom Solutions Group for Convergys Corp., a provider of contact center services, held customer service management positions at Fidelity Investments and Key Services Corp., and filled a variety of manager and director roles at American Express Co.
