Online retail spending rises 17% for week ending Sept. 25
Online retail spending grew 17% to $1.58 billion for the week ended Sept. 25, up from $1.35 billion in the comparable week a year ago, comScore Networks Inc. reports.
By comparison, total retail sales rose 4.2% year-over-year for the week ended Sept. 24, according to ShopperTrack RCT Corp.’s National Retail Sales Estimate.
Online travel sales declined 1% for the week ended Sept. 25, to $1.22 billion from $1.23 billion in the comparable week a year ago, comScore reports.
