Ann Acierno to head Estee Lauder online

The Estee Lauder Cos. Inc. has appointed Ann Acierno as senior vice president and general manager of the ELC Online Division. Acierno will have overall responsibility for Estee Lauder Cos.' Internet activities. Acierno was President of InStyle.com, a division of AOL Time Warner and a leading online resource for style updates, trends, celebrity news and advice. She worked at Saks Fifth Avenue from 1996 to 2000, most recently as senior vice president of saksfifthavenue.com, with responsibility for all merchandising, creative development and financial analysis of the e-commerce web site.
