Vermont Teddy Bear is opening a new e-commerce site in time for the holiday shopping season.
The new site, GiftBagBoutique.com, will debut on Nov. 14 and carry more than 100 products such as designer handbags, purses, travel totes, baby bags and beach bags. GiftBagBoutique.com will also carry other merchandise, including change purses, hair accessories, wallets, bath and body products, pillboxes and scarves.
The new site launch will be tied to a print and broadcast advertising campaign that will feature GiftBagBoutique.com in a forthcoming issue of O, The Oprah Magazine, says Tom Funk, web manager for The Vermont Teddy Bear Co., No. 174 in the Internet Retailer Top 400 Guide to Retail Web Sites.
The new site fits the company’s business development strategy of launching and building recognizable niche brands in the online gifts category.
In addition to GiftBagBoutique.com, Vermont Teddy Bear also now sells online through four web stores at VermonTeddyBear.com, calyxandcorolla.com, PajamaGram.com and TastyGram.com.
