Veteran Internet and Sports Executive Joins
Inc. 500 Entertainment Technology Company
CHICAGO, March 20, 2006 – Jeff Berman, one of the leading executives in the online ticketing industry, has been named Vice President, Business Development and Partnerships for TicketsNow, the world’s largest, most secure online marketplace for premium tickets to entertainment events worldwide.
Berman formerly was the Vice President, Business Development for StubHub Inc. of San Francisco. While there, he successfully negotiated and oversaw the management of exclusive -- and industry-changing -- rights deals with numerous professional teams in the NBA, NFL, and NHL as well as several high-profile universities, artists, athletes, and media companies among others. He will report to Michael Stein, SVP of Business Development and e-Commerce.
“Because our industry is relatively new, there are not many people who understand its intricacies,” said Stein. “Jeff has become one of the best in his field and we look forward to adding him to our management team.”
Jeff, a longtime veteran in the sports industry, spent several years in the business development and marketing groups at CBS Sportsline, Inc. and represented professional athletes and corporations for David Falk Associates (now SFX Sports). Additionally, he built and managed a software company, which he sold to CBS Marketwatch in 2003.

Jeff graduated from Duke University with a BA in Public Policy and received his MBA from Georgetown University.
