Fast Search & Transfer’s Q3 revenue climbs 61% to $27 million

Search technology provider Fast Search & Transfer, or FAST, posted record-high third-quarter revenue of $26.6 million, a rise of 61% over the year-ago period, the company said.

Net income in the quarter doubled to $3.5 million from $1.7 million a year ago.

Revenue for the first nine nine months grew 67% year-over-year to $71.9 million from $43.2 million.

FAST’s clients include Dell Inc.’s Dell.com, Overture and AOL.
