AG Interactive names a chief technology officer
AG Interactive, the new media and e-commerce subsidiary of American Greetings Corp., has named Rajiv Jain as its chief technology officer. Jain joins AG Interactive from Cingular/AT&T Wireless, where he was general manager of Cingular’s business-to-business e-commerce unit. At Cingular Jain managed a team of engineers, project managers, marketing managers and user interface designers.
Jain has also held several positions at International Business Machines, including director of strategy for the Pervasive Computing business unit and the Java Technology Center in Silicon Valley.
At AG Interactive, No. 145 in the Internet Retailer Top 400 Guide to Retail Web Sites, he will oversee global technology activities across all businesses, lead new product development and expand the company`s technology infrastructure.
