
Best Buy extends its lead at top of computers/electronics sites
Best Buy Co. Inc. extended its reign as king of the hill among computers and electronics retailers in March, hosting 12.1 million unique visitors to BestBuy.com, up 3% from 11.7 million a year ago, Nielsen/NetRatings reports. Two Microsoft sites, however, experienced huge growth in March over a year ago, probably related to the release of Vista, Microsoft’s new operating system.
The Top 10 sites in the Computer & Electronics category in March, as reported by Nielsen/NetRatings, with March 2007 and March 2006 unique visitors in millions and growth over the past year, are:
