Online jeweler Blue Nile paid CEO Mark Vadon total 2006 compensation of $2.1 million, according to the company’s recently released proxy statement.
The package included annual base pay of $385,000, an options award of $1.43 million and other compensation of $294,120.
The proxy statement also reveals the annual compensation for other Blue Nile senior executives. Blue Nile president and CFO Diane Irvine earned total compensation of $1.11 million in 2006, which includes an annual salary of $300,000.
Senior vice presidents Susan Bell, Darrell Cavens and Dwight Gaston earned total compensation packages valued at $433,261, $496,098 and $457,430, respectively. The base annual sale for all senior vice presidents ranged from $200,000 to $210,000.
For 2006, Blue Nile, No. 52 in the Internet Retailer Top 500 Guide, reported net income of $13.06 million on revenue of $251.6 million compared with net income of $13.15 million on sales of $203.2 million in 2005.
