
Dell.com slips to No. 3 among hardware manufacturers
Reflecting its overall fortunes, Dell Inc.’s web site has slipped to No. 3 among online destinations for hardware manufacturers, ranked on unique visitors this month by Nielsen/NetRatings. Dell.com’s April traffic slipped 15% in the last year to 14.05 million from 16.45 million a year ago. Hewlett Packard moved up to the No. 2 spot from No. 3 with a 19% surge in unique visitors to 16.8 million.
