LINCOLN, MA - February 7, 2004 - PreVision, the relationship marketing agency, today announced the appointment of Ken Dec to chief marketing officer.
Ken is a 23-year marketing veteran with executive-level experience advising such firms as Mercedes-Benz, Starwood Hotels and Resorts, EMC, Schering Plough, Pfizer, Nationwide and other top names by developing, managing and optimizing brand, marketing, direct marketing, communications and sales strategy.
Ken joins PreVision after leading strategy and business development at Boston`s VIA Group where clients included JP Morgan Chase, Raytheon and Banknorth. Prior to joining VIA, Ken was president and chief executive officer of CGN, an integrated agency whose clients included Charles Schwab, Sheraton Hotels and Reebok. Ken was also executive vice president of business development at the agency`s parent company, Epsilon, a leader in relationship marketing. He has also held leadership positions at Rapp Collins and Hill Holliday.
Ken is a member of the DMA Retail Marketing Council, DMA Pharmaceutical Marketing Council, and The DMA Customer Relationship Management Council. He serves on the national Board of Directors of SADD (Students Against Destructive Decisions) as well as serving on the Board of the Ad Club of Boston. He is a speaker on relationship marketing and a published author in leading industry publications.
